Thanks to a federal grant\, Clackamas ESD is a significant partner in helping school districts throughout Clackamas County and northwest Oregon proactively address safety and emergency management planning needs. This annual event is focused on strengthening relationships between school districts and key stakeholders. Interactive facilitated discussions&nbsp\;will build and reinforce&nbsp\;emergency management skills and resilience. &nbsp\;</p><br/><br/><br/><br/><p><strong>Keynote Speaker: Ila Borders</strong></p><br/><br/><br/><br/><p>We are so excited to have as our keynote\, Ila Borders. A&nbsp\;training captain and paramedic with <strong>Clackamas Fire District #1</strong>\, Ila has a unique back story: she played eight years of men&#39\;s collegiate and professional baseball\, becoming the first woman to win men&#39\;s NCAA and professional games as a pitcher. She&#39\;ll share her inspiring story about a lifetime of overcoming adversity and practicing teamwork.&nbsp\;</p><br/><br/><br/><br/><p><strong>Featured Speaker: Jessica Jack</strong></p><br/><br/><br/><br/><p>Also speaking will be <strong>Jessica Jack</strong>\, a diversity\, equity and inclusion practitioner at the <strong>SAIF Corporation</strong>\, who will share her expertise in creating psychologically safe and enjoyable workplaces where employees can thrive.</p><br/><br/><br/><br/><p>&nbsp\;</p><br/><br/><br/><br/><p><strong>Jobalike Breakouts</strong></p><br/><br/><br/><br/><p>A breakout session with four groups will provide an opportunity for facilitated&nbsp\;deeper dive discussions into relevant aspects of safety and emergency management.
