X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:MESD Ainsworth Building 11611 NE Ainsworth Circle Portland OR 97220 - Auditorium<br/><br/><strong>In-person Event at Multnomah ESD:&nbsp\;</strong><br/>Effective Small Group Literacy Instruction (ORTIi\, NWRESD\, and MESD)<br/><br/><strong>When:</strong><br/>May 16th\, from 8:30 AM-3:30 PM\, lunch included<br/><br/><strong>Description:</strong><br/>MESD is partnering with ORTIi and NWRESD to host <strong>a training focused on using early literacy screening data to drive instructional decisions and inform Tier 1 &amp\; 2&nbsp\; small group instruction.&nbsp\;</strong><br/><br/>The <strong>morning</strong> will focus on developing educators&#39\; <strong>data literacy skills</strong> and the <strong>afternoon </strong>will offer educators a chance to <strong>observe multiple small group lessons focused on word recognition and language comprehension. </strong><br/><br/>MESD will be able to cover a limited number of certified substitute teachers for the event. We are requesting attendees come with at least one colleague to collaborate with. This event is ideal for a coach and a teacher they are working with\, a coach and a building administrator\, or a team of folks who plan to teach in your district&#39\;s summer learning programs. All registrants must complete this <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe6g2lSLjIBNeSwqwSW_0lPuaRQ8bKvdEL6dOfDKjlL3ThQlw/viewform?usp=pp_url">Google Form</a>&nbsp\;to identify who they will be attending with. Registration is limited to 50 for this event.<br/><br/><strong>Substitutes:</strong><br/>A limited amount of funding is available for MESD to cover substitute teachers. Funds will be allocated based on date of registration and fair distribution across districts.
