This 4-hour training is designed as an overview and refresher for individuals who have previously attended the full-day session. It will review the core components of a crisis response and include updated resources.
The purpose of the SOESD Flight Team is to provide organization\, support\, and direction to schools in the event of a death\, traumatic incident\, or natural disaster. This training reinforces the foundation for those who support schools during times of crisis and helps teams respond in a coordinated\, effective way to restore stability.
This session is intended for school staff (administrators\, school counselors\, social workers\, and school-based mental health providers) and community partners who have previously completed the full-day training and continue to support schools during a crisis. SOESD serves schools in Jackson\, Josephine\, and Klamath counties.
