Come spend a day doing science the way it&#39\;s meant to be done &mdash\; observing\, inquiring\, and making sense of the world around us. We will dig deeper into the protocol\, &ldquo\;I notice&hellip\;I wonder&hellip\;It reminds me of&hellip\;&rdquo\; to focus our attention and articulate observations\, spark inquiry\, and to connect to what we already know.&nbsp\; Nature journaling is a holistic\, interdisciplinary teaching tool that is deeply engaging and meaningful. Journaling deepens our observations\, thinking\, and memory. Writing strengthens our thinking\, drawing leads to close\, careful observations and improved memory\, and using numbers helps us see patterns. We will use all three as we explore hands-on ways to build content knowledge and data reasoning skills your students need to read\, write\, and think like scientists. Limited to 20 participants. Priority will be given to educators from districts that purchase STEM Hub services.&nbsp\;Participants will receive a bound copy of <em>How to Teach Nature Journaling</em>\, along with a variety of journaling supplies.
