Marvelous! Magnificent! Meaningful! Module Two: Exploring Components of High Quality Children&rsquo\;s Literature&nbsp\;</strong><br/>CKC: LEC | 1-3 hours | Set Two | ARC: IT/PS<br/><br/><p>Summary Description: The developmental benefits of reading to children are countless\, how do you pick high quality books that will stimulate a life-long love of reading and promote critical thinking about the world around them?&nbsp\; In this class\, we explore what makes a good books good and the skills practitioners need to stock their shelves with these and leave the bad ones out.&nbsp\;</p><br/><br/><br/><strong>Tuesday 8/25/26 6-9pm&nbsp\;</strong><br/><strong>(96704) Books! Marvelous! Magnificent! Meaningful! Module Three: The Importance of Identity in Picture Books</strong><br/>CKC: HGD |3-6 hour | Set Two | ARC: IT &amp\; PS<br/><br/><p>Summary Description: Developing a positive view of oneself is fundamental to every child&#39\;s ability to learn and engage effectively with their world. In this training\, we will explore how identity is presented in books and how to screen high-quality literature for families representing all types of identities.</p><br/><br/><br/><strong>Wednesday 8/26/26 6-9pm</strong><br/><strong>(96705) Books! Marvelous! Magnificent! Meaningful!
