In this free full-day HHMI BioInteractive workshop\, participants will investigate an anchoring phenomenon through collaborative analysis of population data\, inheritance patterns\, and genetic evidence. Together\, we will explore instructional strategies that support students in analyzing and interpreting data\, constructing evidence-based explanations\, and making their thinking visible. Participants will consider how to adapt these strategies to their own classrooms to deepen student sensemaking across scientific contexts.
