Grape St. Medford OR 97501 - Upstairs Conference Room<br/><br/>***Please note*** A construction project is underway across the street from Southern Oregon ESD&rsquo\;s Medford Office.&nbsp\; There is no parking in front of SOESD&rsquo\;s main entrance on North Grape Street.&nbsp\; Please allow additional time to find parking and have adequate walk time to get to your meeting.<br/><br/><br/><strong><u>Who:</u></strong><br/>This workshop is designed for EI/ECSE staff planning to implement training with families.&nbsp\; Workshop will cover a general overview of the evidence-based strategies taught within the parent training curriculum &ldquo\;Teaching Social Communication to Children with Autism&rdquo\; by Brooke Ingersoll and Anna Dvortcsak. The training will also focus on specific strategies and techniques for providing one to one coaching to families.<br/>&nbsp\;<br/><strong><u>What:</u></strong><br/>Class will cover direct and indirect strategies to enhance communication and social interactions\, with a focus in the afternoon on strategies for coaching families. &nbsp\;Strategies covered will be techniques to improve social engagement\, language\, social imitation\, and play skills\, incorporated within daily routines. &nbsp\;Strategies will apply to children with autism\, as well as children with communication or social interaction delays.<br/>&nbsp\;<br/><strong><u>Where:</u></strong><br/>Southern Oregon ESD - Upstairs Conference Room<br/>101 N.
