X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:ZOOM    <br/><br/>Restorative Justice (RJ) is a trauma-informed practice used to strengthen school communities\, repair harm\, and restore relationships when wrongdoings occur. It puts people and relationships at the center of everything we do. Restorative justice uses a holistic approach that includes family and community\, addresses the causes of behavior\, and meets needs of the people that were harmed while promoting a high level of accountability and growth for the person who caused harm. This training prepares participants to facilitate a range of restorative processes including community building circles\, restorative conferences and dialogues\, responsive circles\, and re-entry/circles of support. This training will additionally prepare participants to support school-wide implementation of restorative justice.&nbsp\;<br/>&nbsp\;<br/>This&nbsp\;highly interactive&nbsp\;four-day training will take place&nbsp\;<strong>via Zoom</strong>&nbsp\;on&nbsp\;<strong>October 6 &amp\; 7 and October 13 &amp\; 14</strong>.&nbsp\;Some limited work will need to be completed outside of the training.&nbsp\;Participants must be present and available to actively participate in each session to receive a certificate of completion.&nbsp\;<br/>&nbsp\;<br/><strong>Registration Deadline: </strong>Monday\, September 27 by 4 PM.
