Event Description
Join us for an Oregon Employability Skills Training at NWRESD Washington Service Center in Hillsboro on April 4th from 12:30-3:30PM. Lunch will be provided beginning at 12 pm. Oregon Employability Skills is aligned with ODE's Career Connected Learning and Career Journey initiative. To be successful in today's economy, Oregon’s next generation of workers must develop skills for today — and a growth mindset for encountering (and overcoming) future challenges. Business and education leaders across the state worked together to create a list of the most important skills for young learners to practice in their own career development.

This training will provide teachers and counselors with:

• Review of the High School Work Ready curriculum
• Curriculum Access
• Implementation Ideas
• Opportunity for Collaboration
