Clackamas ESD is hosting the 3rd annual virtual Mental Health Forum from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM on May 2nd, 2024. The forum will include varying topics related to mental and behavioral health for children and youth.
The keynote will be followed by multiple break-out sessions and a panel presentation by local service providers. Topics include: -Overview of Oregon's new Transformational SEL Framework -Self-Regulation Strategies based in Neuroscience -Introduction to a new suicide prevention app for Clackamas County youth -Strategies for Responding to Bias Incidents in Your School -Strategies for Supporting Adolescents Experiencing Anxiety -Keeping Kids Safe on the Internet -Current Drug Trends Impacting Youth -Naloxone Training-Harm Reduction Community Partners -Clackamas County Sheriff -Clackamas County Public Health Department -Clackamas County Department of Behavioral Health An email with the virtual meeting room links will be sent out about a week before the forum. This event is provided at no cost to participants through CESD’s Student Success Act Technical Assistance Grant.
