Event Description
Kickstart your school year with some mid and low-tech assistive technology that can be adapted to a wide range of classrooms and abilities. Join us for this three-hour, interactive session where you will be guided through everything from how to help your low readers tap into learning with reader pens, to making your own, impactful low-tech AT with minimal time and money. You'll also be provided with an overview of the newly updated SOESD AT Lending Library. Whether your goal is to make learning in your Gen Ed. classroom accessible to all students, or to gain some fresh ideas for ways to serve students in your Sped setting, you will leave inspired with some new strategies to put in place when school starts!
