Co-Regulation to Self-Regulation: Supporting Customer Service (Jefferson School District)

Instructors: Mary Michael Mental Health and Behavior Education Specialist, Jennifer Young Communications

Event Description: This workshop is designed to explore regulation concepts and strategies. We will explore the continuum of regulation. Participants will gain strategies for co-regulation, identifying and recognizing triggers, and creating co-regulation cues using customer service lens.

Event objectives:  
  • Identify how trauma impacts brain development that affects learning and behavior in school
  • Increase confidence when responding to behaviors using customer service techniques
  • Provide resources, strategies, and tools to use in your workplace
