Vital new information on how our brains and nervous systems develop, on how we pass down traits from one generation to another through the expression of our DNA, on the Adverse Childhood Expeiences or ACEs study (a groundbreaking study showing the impact of trauma on child development and the health/behavioral health outcome we see in our kids) and on how we can increase resilience--our ability to positively adpat to whatever life brings our way--for ourselves and the students we work with. The Southern Oregon ACEs Training Team has presented over 650 sessions of this training for over 19,000 people in our region since 2016, including educators at all levels.
