School Safety and Emergency Management Collaborative (in-person)

Event Details

The goal of this Collaborative is to recognize and celebrate the exceptional work initiated by our local districts, giving credit where credit is due. Our aim is to co-create a structured framework for regional collaboration to keep these initiatives thriving and moving forward in our area. The topics and trainings in our area that we can draw on for this collaborative/workgroup include: School Shield training, SRP training, BSAT training, Flight team training, Medford’s summer exercise at Oakdale from last summer, and Glen’s workgroup meeting on reunification and ICS from last spring. By drawing upon these resources and fostering a collaborative environment, we aspire to further enhance safety measures and emergency preparedness across our region.

Who should attend? Buildings/operations managers responsible for physical security, school-based managers/response responsible for crisis management and threat assessment, School Resource Officers City/County staff responsible for emergency response procedures
