Blind Visually Impaired Student (BVIS) Fund Tech Time - AI Update

Event Details

BVIS Tech Time is a time for TVIs (and others) from across the state to connect, collaborate, and discuss all things tech. We start each meeting by discussing whatever is top of mind for attendees. After our open discussion, there is a brief presentation on that month’s focus topic. We cover various topics on the use of Assistive Technology for blind and visually impaired students.

This month’s focus is an AI Update. With new AI tools popping up constantly, it’s hard to keep track of what’s available and what’s actually useful. In this session, we’ll take a look at some of the latest AI tools and how they might fit into your everyday work. We’ll discuss how we’re currently using AI, explore new possibilities, and talk about important issues like privacy, age restrictions, and how (or whether) to use AI with students.
