Determining Specially Designed Instruction, Service Summary, & Placement

Join us for a training session that focuses on the foundations of Individualized Education Programs (IEP), specifically addressing Specially Designed Instruction (SDI), related services, and placement decisions. The session will also include resources and tools to support ongoing professional development in special education services. This training was developed with a focus on the K-12 setting and registration for this event does not require any prerequisites. This training does not cover information about Synergy SE or the Oregon Special Education System (OrSPED).

  • Criteria for determining appropriate SDI and related services

Whether you’re new to navigating IEPs or looking for a refresher, this training is designed for Special Education Teachers, IEP Case Managers, Speech-Language Pathologists, School Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the IEP processes and procedures.
