Science of Reading/ Early Literacy: Equipping Para Educators with the Knowledge to Support Student Learning

Event Description: In this session, para educators will acquire the essential skills and knowledge to effectively deliver evidence-based reading instruction. This training will empower para educators to support students in developing strong foundational reading skills. Through a combination of practical demonstrations and interactive activities, this workshop will cover the core principles of phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. 

Event Objectives: By the end of this training, participants will be well-prepared to assist teachers in delivering evidence based instruction.
