En este taller, exploraremos y analizaremos en profundidad el desarrollo de los niños desde una perspectiva histórica, biológica y social. Exploraremos un proceso de desarrollo continuo que podemos utilizar como base para comprender el desarrollo y el comportamiento, al mismo tiempo que reconocemos que cada niño es único y especial. Exploraremos estrategias para generar un sentido de comunidad y autoestima entre los niños a los que ayudamos.
This workshop we will explore and discuss in depth the development of children through a historical, biological and social lens. We will explore a developmental continuum that we can use as a basis for our understanding of development and behavior while at the same time recognizing that each child is unique and special. We will explore strategies for building a sense of community and self-esteem among the children we serve.

Terms: All participants must pay with a credit card or with a scholarship code issued by Clackamas CCR&R and must register for zoom classes in advance, the zoom link will be included in the class confirmation email. Classes canceled less than 2 business days in advance of the training date are not eligible for a refund. Hours will only be issued to participants who arrive no later than 15 minutes after the class begins, hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Certificates will be emailed within a week of the class. Participants can only take one live online class at a time.
