Description:
The importance of play for a child’s healthy development is grounded in a strong body of research. In this session, we will dive into the research to gain a clearer understanding of how play promotes cognitive, physical, social and emotional development in children. We will learn how to effectively plan and promote intentional play activities to allow children the opportunities to take chances and spark their curiosity.
Outcomes: As a result of this webinar, participants will be able to:
explain the importance of play on a child’s development.
create an environment that empowers children to pursue creative play.
provide high quality interactions with children to enhance play.

La importancia del juego para el desarrollo saludable de un niño se basa en una sólidoa investigación. En esta sesión, nos sumergiremos en la investigación para obtener una comprensión más clara de cómo el juego promueve el desarrollo cognitivo, físico, social y emocional en los niños.
