Sexual Incident Response Training

Event Details


 SIRC is a one-day training that teaches a systematic school-based approach to identifying and addressing sexually concerning behavior in schools that can be applied across rural and urban settings with students in grades K-12.

Workshop Includes:
  • Provision of all forms, protocols and ancillary documents necessary to implement a comprehensive Sexual Incident Response system
    • A survey of research specific to problematic sexual behavior in children and teens
    • A review of the dynamics of concerning sexual behavior within special education student populations
    • Guidance to implement school based Level 1 protocol
    • Application of intervention, supervision and support plans to mitigate student sexual harm
    • A review of the intersection between the SIRC process and state/federal sexual harassment regulations/Title IX
    • Case study exercises examining a full spectrum of problematic sexual behaviors
    • A review of a centralized and community-based Level 2 SIRC team
