Event Description

Ed Talk: Funding Teacher Education

Join us this fall for an interactive series of monthly virtual events helping you plan a path towards a career in education. Co-sponsored by the Willamette Education Service District and Salem-Keizer Public Schools, these free events are open to any individual in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties interested in learning how to become a teacher.

We want to help demystify the costs of college and teacher licensure which can be complex and overwhelming. In this second event of our Become an Oregon Educator series, you will learn the difference between grants and scholarship and identify specific funding sources to help fund your teacher preparation and licensure costs.
