Rooted in Relationship

Event Details

Humans don’t fit in boxes and thus, checklist approaches to behavior and learning interventions often fall short. This series gets to the root of any effective strategy- relationship. We will uncover the often hidden forces shaping classroom dynamics.

We will focus on three key themes:

Context: Delve into the influence of personal values, beliefs, identity, biases and environments on relationships. Explore how dominant culture systems can shape and impact interactions.

Co-Regulation: Discover how theories about our nervous systems and sensory processing influence self-regulation and co-regulation. Develop flexible strategies to support a range of needs and foster a nurturing classroom environment.

Communication: Boost your communication skills to effectively advocate for yourself and others. Create a classroom culture centered on connection, collaboration, and deep learning.

Each session combines theoretical learning, practical skill-building, and collaborative activities.

This 3-part series is intentionally held after hours - you will be paid for your time. This series will be all online/accessed via Zoom
