Educator, Attorney, Consultant, Author
Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth is an edtech consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and teacher of Spanish and STEAM: Emerging Technology. Rachelle has a Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law, a Master’s, and a Doctorate in Instructional Technology. Rachelle specializes in AI, AI and the Law, AR/VR, Cybersecurity, SEL, and STEM, in addition to other topics as requested. She has more than six years of teaching and presenting on AI in her classroom and working with educators worldwide.
Rachelle is an ISTE-certified educator and recipient of the ISTE Making IT Happen Award and several presidential gold and silver awards for volunteer service. She presents regularly at state, national, and international conferences and provides professional development and coaching for educators on a variety of topics, including assessments and emerging technologies such as AI, AR and VR, and STEM. She is the author of nine books and a blogger for Defined Learning, Edutopia, and Getting Smart.

February 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th of 2025. Sessions will be 90 minutes, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. PT, and cover the following topics: 

AI for Educator Use – February 4th
This session will explore how educators can use AI tools to enhance teaching and streamline various clerical and administrative tasks. Learn about AI-powered resources for lesson planning, grading assistance, personalized learning, and improving classroom management. Participants will gain hands-on experience with tools that save time and improve efficiency in the teaching process.

Teaching Students About AI – February 11th
In this session, educators will be introduced to various strategies for teaching students about the fundamentals of artificial intelligence. Topics will include basic terms related to AI, a focus on ethical considerations, machine learning basics, and practical applications of AI in everyday life. Participants will leave with resources and activities to integrate AI concepts into their curriculum and spark curiosity in students to explore AI careers.

AI for Student Use with Tools – February 18th
This session focuses on AI-powered tools and platforms that can help students enhance their learning experience. Educators will explore AI tools for research, writing assistance, personalized learning paths, and fostering creativity. Attendees will learn how to guide and support students using AI ethically, responsibly, and effectively to support their academic success. 

AI for Administrators – February 25th
The session will explore how school administrators can use AI to improve decision-making, data analysis, and operational efficiency. Attendees will learn how AI can assist in personalized learning, clerical tasks, predictive analytics for student success, and streamlining communication within the school community. Attendees will also discuss the implications of AI in education policy and leadership
