Learning Spark: Increasing Studetn Collaboration and Dialogue in the Secondary Classroom

Event Description

Student to Student Dialoguing leads to a more inclusive and equitable environment, enhances student engagement, and promotes active learning. When students engage in discourse, they are more likely to understand and retain information because they are actively involved in the learning process. This type of interaction also helps to build a sense of community within the classroom, as students learn to value and respect each other's opinions and perspectives.

In this one day workshop, participants will review the benefits of student to student engagement, explore a variety of strategies, practical activities to increase collaboration, and dialogue within the middle and high school classroom.
