Join us this spring for an interactive series of monthly virtual events helping you plan a path towards a career in education. Co-sponsored by the Willamette Education Service District and Salem-Keizer Public Schools, these free events are open to any individual interested in learning how to become a teacher.

Our February Ed Talk: Navigating a Mentor Teacher Partnership will feature Ashley Wildfang from the SC2V Regional Educators’ Network. She will share tips and strategies for building a partnership with your mentor teacher that ensures your ability to learn and grow.

Who Should Attend
This event is designed for high school students, instructional assistants, and career changers interested in becoming a teacher in Oregon.

What Should Attendees Bring
Attendees should bring questions they have about student teaching and working in an active classroom.


List Of Future Dates
This is the second of four monthly virtual events occurring this Spring (2025). Scheduled in the late afternoon, the focus of each will be on a timely theme, prompting steps for interested participants to prepare for enrollment in teacher education. Other events include:
