This is a 4 class cohort, participants must register for and attend all classes for ORO hours. Classes are:
6/5 6-9pm 86925 Self-Care for the Caregiver Creating Balance While Caring for Young Children
Participants will examine common caregiver challenges that create stress and burnout and explore effective strategies to create balance and enjoy a sense of well-being while caring for young children. Participants will learn how to build resilience and leave with a self-care plan.
Set 2, PPLD
6/12 6-9pm 86926 Applying the NAEYC Code of Ethics in Child Care Environments (86926)
This training session will allow participants to receive an overview of t the NAEYC Code of Ethics. The NAEYC Code of Ethics will also be examined and applied to the interactions they have with children, families, their colleagues, and employer (if applicable) by the use of case studies and open discussions.

6/19 6-9pm 87029 Professionalism in Child Care
This class will explore professionalism in childcare settings. What the industry's best practices are in professional behavior. Practice how to maintain professionalism during difficult situations with families and others who enter your programs. How to engage with coworkers and supervisors in a respectful manner.

6/26 6-9pm 86927 Ethics, Confidentiality, and Respecting Families
Come explore the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and how it reflects best practices in the industry. Utilize the Code to impact your comprehension of confidentiality and when to apply it. Tie it all together to build practices that demonstrate respect for families and children.

Terms: All participants must pay with a credit card or with a scholarship code issued by Clackamas CCR&R and must register for zoom classes in advance, the zoom link will be included in the class confirmation email. Classes canceled less than 2 business days in advance of the training date are not eligible for a refund. Please call 503 675-4100 or email ccrr@clacked.org to request a refund; refunds are not automatic. Hours will only be issued to participants who arrive no later than 15 minutes after the class begins, hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Certificates will be emailed within a week of the class. Participants can only take one live online class at a time.
