The Science of Reading, Science of Teaching, and Data-Based Decision Making
Our Northwest Regional Education Service District Early Literacy Supports Team presents a learning opportunity for individuals and school teams from Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, or Washington counties on the Science of Reading, the Science of Teaching, and Data-Based Decision Making. This is a four-part series of professional development offered in the 2025-2026 school year which will focus on Pre-K through grade 6 literacy systems.
The intended audience for this series of trainings includes all instructors in Pre-K through 6th grade settings, literacy coaches and specialists, school instructional leadership team members, and school administrators. Participants need not attend all four parts of the series. Please attend as many as you are able.

Lunch will be provided. Please fill out the survey included in this event to indicate any dietary needs. Registration for this event closes 9/25/25 at 4:00pm.
To ease access to our Early Literacy Training, Northwest Regional ESD will pay for your sub costs. Once your direct supervisor approves your attendance and you are registered, please note in your absence system that you are attending a NWRESD event and the sub costs will be covered by the NWRESD Instructional Services Department.
