Provider Appreciation Celebration May 9, 2025 will be declared Provider Appreciation Day in Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook counties by the Board of County Commissioners in each county. Child Care professionals are suitably celebrated side by side with Teacher Appreciation Day and Mothers Day. NW Regional Child Care Resource and Referral invites all early child care and education professionals to be celebrated at our Provider Appreciation events. ALL professionals; licensed, exempt and program staff are invited to attend on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Professionals attending will receive training, lunch, books and door prizes. During the professional development session, educators will utilize their knowledge of the progression of language and literacy skills in the areas of phonological awareness, background knowledge, vocabulary, and literacy concepts by planning interactive read aloud activities to use with the children in their setting.
