TeachUp Learning Series: Elevating Instructional Assistants as Educators
The TeachUp Learning Series centers the experiences of instructional assistants in three virtual hour-long learning experiences. Facilitated by Oregon teachers who have previously worked as or supported instructional assistants, each event will build connections between the typical daily activities of an instructional assistant with the responsibilities of being a licensed teacher. Topics for this series include: connecting with special education students, shifting teaching practice in different classroom roles, and supporting student language across classrooms.
