
Region 8 - Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Team
Are you an education professional in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, or Washington County who is passionate about supporting students with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and concussions? If so, we invite you to join our regional TBI Team and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of these students. Team members represent a wide range of roles, including District Nurse, School Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Special Education Teacher, and more. The team is coordinated by the Region 8 TBI Liaison, Malory Turner.

- Flexible office hours with the TBI Liaison for individualized support and consultation
We recognize that scheduling conflicts may arise. While we encourage active participation, attending every meeting is not required—we welcome your involvement at any level!
Member Requirements:
- Must be an Oregon education professional working in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, or Washington County.
- Supervisor approval is required to participate.
- New members are encouraged to complete an onboarding training hosted by CBIRT in September.
(If you’re unable to attend live, a recording will be provided.)
- Complete a minimum of 5 hours of TBI-related training each year.
(This can include in-person sessions, virtual trainings, recorded webinars, or readings.)
- Members are encouraged to submit data as they are able.

Team Regional Contact Information
The TBI Team helps guide schools by providing training and support for educators working with students who have TBI. Each region in Oregon has a TBI liaison or contact person. To access the support of the TBI Team, contact the liaison for your region.
