SEL is getting a lot of attention lately. With attention often comes checkboxes and scripts, the opposite of Transformative SEL.
This cohort will be a space to learn, personalize, and thus more authentically, practice and experience connection with SEL strategies in our lives and our work with youth and fellow adults.
This series will be a space to learn:
How identity, culture and equity is inseparable from Transformative SEL
Transformative SEL practices and frameworks
Strategies and tools for communication, motivation, addressing conflict, goal setting, understanding needs behind behavior that challenges us, Universal Design for Learning and co-regulation
Each session will be a combination of learning theory, skill strategy practice, connection and collaboration
This 3-part series is intentionally held after hours - you will be paid for your time.
This series will be all online/accessed via Zoom
