Participants will gain knowledge in:
Define progress monitoring and describe its role within a data-based instructional model.
Be able to select appropriate reading progress monitoring measures aligned to specific student needs within the IEP.
Set measurable, data-driven reading goals based upon baseline data and expected growth rates.
Analyze progress monitoring data to determine a student’s response to intervention.
Determine how to modify reading instruction based on student progress monitoring data.
