Event Details

Event Description

Strengthen your students’ analytical thinking and writing with strategies from The Writing Revolution 2.0 by Judith Hochman and Natalie Wexler. This full-day professional learning session equips secondary teachers with the Hochman Method®—a practical, research-based approach that explicitly teaches students how to craft clear, well-organized sentences, paragraphs, and essays across all content areas.

Participants will learn how to embed writing instruction into their subject-area teaching—whether English, science, social studies, or CTE—using outlines, sentence-combining strategies, and scaffolds. Expect a hands-on, high-engagement day focused on helping students express complex ideas with clarity and confidence.

Who should attend: Middle and high school teachers in all content areas, literacy specialists, and instructional coaches.
Format: Full-day, in-person workshop (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
