Presenter Biography
Dr. Marinda Peters (she/ella) is a Section 504 and Civil Rights Specialist in the Civil Rights Unit of the Oregon Department of Education (ODE). In her role, Marinda primarily specializes in the rights and obligations under Section 504 and Title II of the ADA. She has 17 years of experience working in public education as a professional school counselor, behavior coach and 504
Coordinator. Marinda has an MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University and earned her PhD in Counseling in 2017 from Oregon State University.
