KidWind Teacher Training Workshop
WORKSHOP SUMMARY
FREE training! Earn a stipend of $150 to attend and take materials back to your classroom!
Learn how to explore the power of wind and solar energy to then teach it in your classroom.
KidWind’s professional development program offers hands-on training to teach energy concepts to
students in grades 4-12. Through interactive activities, attendees gain the skills and knowledge
needed to integrate clean energy topics into their curriculum. KidWind’s program uses solar panels,
circuitry, and wind turbines to help educators engage students in learning about clean energy
technologies, the grid, and workforce development. The training emphasizes real-world applications,
problem-solving, and STEM skills, empowering educators to inspire the next generation of innovators.
