We are hosting a live webinar for District library leaders on Friday, April 17th. Topics covered include district-level Destiny administration. We are hosting the webinar at the NWRESD Washington Service Center in Hillsboro for those who wish to attend in person, or you can participate on your own off site.

This is an advanced level webinar for people who have solid familiarity with Library Manager or Resource Manager and want to hone skills for district-level management. It will not be appropriate for new users. The cost will be $120.00 per participant.

This webinar will be presented by Follett Destiny trainers Michelle Kuempel and Angie Pedregon.

- Welcome & Introductions
- Transition from Site to District Managed Access Levels
- Managing Settings and Policies from the District Level
- Break (Snacks on site)
Session #2: 10:00am-12:00pm
- District Level Catalog Management, Library Manager
- Reports & data for collection development and grants, Library Manager and Resource Manager
- Help & Support Resources

Here are some tips to enhance your training experience:

Have access to your Destiny username and password for your district’s Destiny site.
Use two monitors or an additional device during the training, so that you view the instruction on one screen and follow along in your own Destiny site on the other. If you choose to attend the session at the Washington Service Center just bring your laptop.
If you are on your own, arrange to be in a distraction-free zone during sessions, if possible.
