Event Description

Description: Trabajar con bebés y niños pequeños es gratificante, pero a veces también es difícil. En este módulo, los participantes aprenderán a utilizar la observación para comprender mejor el comportamiento de los niños. Estudiaremos las influencias que afectan al comportamiento y examinamos nuestras propias creencias. Practicaremos la reformulación de nuestros pensamientos para responder mejor a las situaciones difíciles.

Working with infants and toddlers is rewarding, but it can also sometimes be challenging. In Understanding Behavior, participants will examine how to use observation to better understand child behavior. We will explore the many influences affecting behavior and use this knowledge to examine our own beliefs. We will practice reframing our thoughts to better respond to challenging situations.

Terms: All participants must pay with a credit card or with a scholarship code issued by Clackamas CCR&R. For online classes, the link will be included in the class confirmation email. Participants must register in advance. Classes canceled less than 2 business days in advance of the training date are not eligible for a refund. Please call 503 675-4100 or email ccrr@clackesd.org to request a refund; refunds are not automatic. Hours will only be issued to participants who miss no more than 15 minutes of class. Participants can only take one live online class at a time. Hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Classes will be closed within 5 business days of the class. Certificates will not be issued; they can be downloaded from ORO accounts after the class is closed.
