This flexible, hands-on program emphasizes doing over theory. No prior project management experience is required. You’ll work through real-world scenarios using proven tools to build confidence in planning, leading, and delivering successful projects.

This 3-day training takes place over three separate weeks: 

 

  • Day 1: Project Management Fundamentals - Monday, July 20th REMOTE - VIRTUAL COURSE
  • Day 2: Intermediate Project Management - Monday, July 27th - Willow Creek
  • Day 3: AI in Project Management - Monday, August 3rd - Willow Creek


Project Management Fundamentals, 7/20

This introductory workshop familiarizes participants with commonly used project management terminology and standard practices. While not designed to prepare individuals for a formal project management or supervisory role, it provides a strong foundation for understanding how projects are planned, organized, and supported within organizations.

Who should attend

Professionals who participate in or support projects, work on cross-functional teams, or want a foundational understanding of project management concepts. No prior experience required.

What you’ll learn

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify standard project phases and core practices
  • Communicate more effectively with project managers and stakeholders


Intermediate Project Management, 7/27

This workshop is for individuals with basic project management knowledge who want to deepen skills. Participants explore key project phases — initiation, planning, execution, and closeout — while learning advanced tools and strategies for managing projects effectively. Hands-on activities ensure immediate workplace application.

Who should attend

Professionals with foundational knowledge ready to strengthen planning, execution, and coordination skills. Ideal for those who support projects, lead small initiatives, or collaborate closely with project managers.

What you’ll learn

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Apply advanced tools and techniques across key project phases
  • Strengthen project planning, execution, and closeout practices
  • Use practical strategies to manage scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations


AI in Project Management, 8/3

This workshop explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping project management practices. Participants examine real-world tools and strategies that improve efficiency, decision-making, and team performance. Emphasis is on ethical and effective application across the project lifecycle.

Project professionals with foundational knowledge interested in leveraging AI to improve productivity, collaboration, and project outcomes.
