This virtual series will cover key topics related to IEP development. Each session will provide practical information, resources, and guidance to support participants in navigating the IEP process. Ideal for those looking for a quick refresher or targeted learning in a shorter, one-hour format.

Who Should Attend: 

  • Registrants must be employed with a school district in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, or Washington County.
     
  • Participants who may benefit most from this training include, but are not limited to:
    • K-12 Special Education Teachers, Compliance Specialists, Case Managers, Related Services Providers, or any other administrative/certified/classified staff supporting the IEP process.

Instructor: 

Photograph of Malory Turner ​​​​​​Malory Turner is the Special Education Professional Learning Coach, Traumatic Brain Injury Liaison, and Regional Technical Assistance Provider at NWRESD. In her role, she collaborates with educators, specialists, and district leaders to provide professional learning and technical assistance centered on special education practices, IEP development, and equitable student support. She was honored with the Noel Connall Instruction & Professional Development Award from the Oregon Education Association for her contributions to high-quality educator training. Malory holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from Pacific University and brings a decade of experience supporting students with disabilities as an instructional assistant, special educator, mentor teacher, and teacher leader.
