EVENT DESCRIPTION
A brief introduction to the field of Behavioral Safety Assessment and an overview of the school-based Level 1 Assessment process.

Training components:

The role of BSA in school prevention and response systems
Key “lenses” for assessing threat situations
Warning signs, indicators and risk factors
Overview of the Level 1 Assessment including a brief review of new, small changes to level 1 forms
Overview of the Level 2 Team processes
Small group practice scenarios

Who should attend:

Building/district administrators
School counselors
School psychologists
School social workers
School Resource Officers/ law enforcement partners
School-based partner agencies
BSA Level 2 Team members
