More information about all Building Thinking Classrooms workshops can be found here. 

This workshop is for educators ready for ADVANCED BTC practices. The day will focus on "Tool Kits" 2 and 3. Participants should be very familiar with “Toolkit 1” practices.

Cost: Free for Clackamas County employees, $50 for others

**Clackamas ESD will send payment requests after the workshop.**

All participants will be provided lunch and may choose one item (while supplies last):

~K-5 Building Thinking Classrooms TASK book (green)
~6-12 Building Thinking Classrooms TASK book (maroon)
~Whiteboard supplies (Expo markers, erasers, a dozen small and large clear sleeves)

You will:

• Personally experience a BTC activity in the role of a student
• Learn about BTC practices in “Toolkits 2 and 3” (Consolidation, Meaningful Notes, Thin Slicing, and more)
• Time to plan individually or with your team with support from a BTC Enthusiast (Lori MacKenzie)

Notes:

• This event will be hosted at Clackamas ESD. 
• We will not be observing BTC classrooms due to the workshop taking place over Winter Break. 
• Lunch will be provided. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. If you have other strict dietary restrictions, we encourage you to bring additional snacks or food to ensure your needs are met.
• We may not be able to adjust room temperatures; please dress accordingly.
