Event Description

Learning Through Praxis - Sustainable Differentiation

Event Description
How do we make differentiation sustainable? By focusing on building classroom systems rather than attempting the impossible task of creating personalized learning for every student, every day. In this Learning Through Praxis series, we will explore together how to reduce or remove barriers to learning and increase student access and agency. By utilizing universal supports, student choice, and evidence-based targeted interventions, we can make responsive teaching possible AND sustainable.

Each session will include space to collaborate with others, process and plan next steps, and create accessible materials and systems. Participants will also be expected to spend approximately 90 additional minutes per month implementing new differentiation supports in their classrooms and reflecting on the impacts of those changes. Participants will turn in assignments documenting these supports, and the instructor will provide feedback.
