Event Description:

This one-day workshop is an in-person extension of the virtual year-long middle school PLC.  During this workshop, we will do and discuss math together, connect lessons in purchased curricular materials to state standards, and practice purposeful decision making about what to keep, supplement, and discard from instructional materials.  Day two will focus on algebraic expressions and data reasoning. During the workshop, educators will be engaging in ambitious math practices and have time to plan for implementation. Educators can choose to participate in one or both days. Educators participating in the on-line middle school PLC will be given priority. Registration is limited to 15 participants. Subs costs will be paid for by the SOESD. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
