This half-day training is an overview of the foundations of social thinking and social behavior for participants, who are NEW to the concept of Social Skills Training have NOT attended our Social Cognition Workshops last year. In addition to gaining foundational knowledge, participants will learn about the value of conducting social skills groups and be guided in the process of how to form and facilitate these groups. We will introduce effective curricula, tools, strategies, and informal assessments.
Target Audience: General education teachers, special educators, speech/language pathologists, all professionals working with students on the Autism Spectrum at elementary to middle-high school grade levels.
