Event Details

Event Description

The theme of the NVHS Multicultural Night is Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Our keynote speaker is D.L. Richardson, a former SOU Department of Communication professor and the current Medford School District Equity Specialist. Darius Kilo, SOU Communication and journalism major, will inspire students to believe that their context is not their destiny. He will also share how his Hawaiian culture has shaped him. Trinidad Flores, NVHS Alumni and current Oregon Institute of Technology Diversity Club president, will be accompanied by several members of the diversity club who will share their experiences at OIT and in the community. There will be music and dance to keep our brains alert and happy. Several Bachata dance demonstrations by North Valley students will close our program.

The 6th Annual North Valley High School Multicultural Night is Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:30 PM in the Valley High School commons. This event is free and open to the public.
