NASA IN THE CLASSROOM: Middle School Curriculum Development Workshop
When: August 9th & 10th, 2022 (Participants will attend both days)

Join the crew of educators to develop NGSS-aligned, hands-on Earth & Space science STEM lessons for your classroom, with emphasi on
*Buidling student attitudes and identity
*Critical skills for academic success
All activities include: Real world science correlation, cross-curriculum alignment, project-based learning, and more
-Develop student-centered strategies for the Fall transition back into the classroom learning environment, AND
-Create STEM projects to drive student learning, and engagement in NGSS Earth & Space, Physical & Engineering Design
standards, using models based on actual NASA missions.
-Walk away with classroom materials, resources for lesson units, and more.
What you get:
-Stipend for the 2-day worksop; no registration fee is required
-Breakfast and lunch are provided
-Travel stipend is available if needed
-24 PDUs
