Event Details
Apply to join this fantastic cadre of Math teachers and professors who will lead us through current and relevant applications aligning to CTE programs and various industry sectors. Attend monthly 1 hour sessions where applications and resources will be shared for your immediate use in the classroom. A discussion board through CANVAS will be supplied where you will engage in discussion throughout the month in between meetings for sharing of best practices and support needed for challenges as they arise. At the end of this series, resources and curriculum will be submitted to ODE for Oregon Open Learning. Stipend provided for attendees who complete the series and fully participate.
Focus will be: Geometry, Tourism, Agriculture, Natural Resources, Culinary, Hospitality, IT, Computer Science, Business Management, Marketing, Government, Healthcare, Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, Transportation Tech, Automotive & Diesel Engineering.
There will be a diverse set of presenters who excel in each topic, and will bring valuable insight information to each session.
Dates: The 2nd Tuesday of the month
September 13th, October 11th, November 8th, January 10th, February 14th, March 14th, April 11th, & May 9th-Total of 8 sessions.
Time: 5:00-6;00 PM via Zoom, Zoom link will be provided to selected applicants after you register.
Stipend Amount: $2500.00 (Must attend all sessions)
