New Teachers of KCSD!
Please consider joining 24-year veteran teacher Kathleen Todd and now Vice Principal of Henley High School for a paid book study on Harry and Rosemary Wong’s book, The First Days of School. We will meet five times during 1st semester to discuss each unit of the book and to form a collegial group around effective teaching. This book study can also serve as one of your SMART goals for Talent Ed! You will earn 5 Professional Development Units (PDUs). Teachers will be compensated for their after-hours time at curriculum rate upon completion of the entire course. This course is open to all new teachers that are participating in KCSD's mentoring program.
All meetings will be held from 4-5 pm at Henley High School.
