Event Description

The Southern Oregon ESD Behavioral Health and Wellness Team invites you to a Student Behavioral Health Summit and Planning Meeting on January 20, 23 from 12 to 3 pm. Lunch will be provided.

During our three hours together, we will work together to come up with a plan to face the challenges of:

Post-pandemic stressors for students, staff, our systems
Collaboration across agencies
Peer support and connection for K-12 mental health professionals
Professional development opportunities to meet the needs of school-based behavioral health providers
Widespread, embedded Tier 1 supports on K-12 campuses
Threat assessments
Suicide prevention, intervention and postvention

We also will share ideas and learn about:

How to provide effective, meaningful behavioral health supports
What is working and what isn't
Models of service delivery and what might work in your school setting
Needs in your school and staff
Making connections
Next steps to move forward
