Event Description
Who: 3rd-8th grade teachers in any subject area
Description:
Data can be used to tell stories, reveal misconceptions, and broaden perspectives. Join teachers from across the state to explore creative ways to integrate data reasoning, art, language arts, science, and mathematics - all while attending to the social-emotional needs of your students. Across the four, 90-minute sessions, you will develop strategies for collecting and organizing multivariate data and use mathematical concepts to create visual representations of the data. Included with your registration, you will receive the
Dear Data
coffee table book, the Dear Data drawing journal, and a set of drawing pens.
